Cookie notice
Last updated: 6 November 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar store in your browser. This notice lists everything this site stores, and how to change your choice. The site is run by HoWA Living Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 15470281. Registered office: 12 Hatherley Road, Sidcup, Kent, DA14 4DT.
The two kinds we use
- Essential (always on). These keep the site and the business interest form working and secure, and remember your cookie choice. The law allows these without consent because the site cannot work properly without them.
- Analytics (off until you turn it on). Google Analytics, to understand which pages are useful. Nothing is set until you choose Accept all or turn Analytics on in Cookie preferences.
We use no advertising, marketing or social media cookies.
What we store
| Name | Provider | Purpose | How long | Kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|
howa_consent | HoWA Business | Cookie that remembers your cookie choice, so we don't ask on every page | 12 months | Essential |
howa_consent | HoWA Business | Local storage copy of the same choice, used if the cookie is blocked | Until you clear your browser storage | Essential |
| Turnstile | Cloudflare | Security check on the business interest form, to stop automated messages. Cloudflare may store short-lived data for the check | Session | Essential |
_ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor's browser apart from another's | 2 years | Analytics |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your visit (session) | 2 years | Analytics |
If you say no to analytics
If you choose Reject non-essential, or leave Analytics off, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all and nothing is sent to Google. Even when analytics is on, Google never receives your name, your email address, your company or anything you type into the form, and advertising features stay switched off. Our privacy notice explains more.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the foot of every page, or here:
If you turn analytics off, nothing more is sent from that moment. Cookies Google Analytics has already set stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them. You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings.
